2 ex-solon kakasuhan kaugnay ng pork barrel fund scam

May sapat na batayang nakita ang Office of the Ombudsman upang sampahan ng kaso ang dalawang dating kongresista kaugnay ng pork barrel fund scam.
Inaprubahan ni Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales ang pagsasampa ng kasong graft at malversation laban kina dating Malabon-Navotas Rep. Alvin Sandoval at dating Bukidnon Rep. Candido Pancrudo.
Kasama nila sa kaso ang mga opisyal ng Technology Resource Center, National Agribusiness Corporation, at mga non-governmental organizations na Pangkabuhayan Foundation, Inc., Dr. Rodolfo Ignacio Sr. Foundation Inc., Jacinto Castel Borja Foundation, Inc., at Uswag Pilipinas Foundation Inc.
Padadalhan din ng kopya ng resolusyon ang Anti-Money Laundering Council upang matukoy kung mayroong paglabag sa Anti-Money Laundering Act.
Nagkakahalaga umano ng P30 milyon ang Priority Development Assistance Fund na napunta sa mga kuwestyunableng NGO mula 2007-2009. Itinanggi umano ng sinasabing mga benepisyaryo ng livelihood training skills na mayroon silang pinuntahang seminar at nakatanggap ng agricultural materials.
Nagkakahalaga naman ng P8.2 milyong pork barrel fund ni Pancrudo noong 2008 ang napunta sa kuwestyunableng UPFI.
Pinili umano ni Pancrudo ang UPFI na siyang magpatupad ng kanyang proyekto na hindi dumaan sa public bidding at wala itong batayan sa batas.
