HUMIRIT ang Star Hotshots ng do-or-die game matapos nilang gulpihin ang Globalport Batang Pier, 126-73, sa kanilang 2015 PBA Governors’ Cup quarterfinals match kahapon sa Smart Araneta Coliseum sa Cubao, Quezon City.

Si Marqus Blakely, na napiling Best Player of the Game, ay gumawa ng 23 puntos at siyam na rebounds para pamunuan ang Hotshots sa dominanteng pagwawagi laban sa Batang Pier na nakalasap ng masaklap na pagkatalo.

Samantala, pipilitin ng San Miguel Beer at Rain or Shine na agad makausad sa semifinals sa pagsagupa sa magkahiwalay na katunggali ngayon sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Makakaharap ng Elasto Painters ang Barako Bull sa ganap na alas-3 ng hapon na opening game samantalang makakatapat ng Beermen ang Meralco sa alas-5 ng gabi na main game.

Tinalo ng Energy ang Elasto Painters, 112-103, sa kanilang paghaharap noong Mayo 31 kaya siguradong magpipilit ang Rain or Shine na bawian ang Barako Bull para tuluyang makapasok sa semifinal round.

Ang Rain or Shine ay pangungunahan ni Wendell McKines at susuportahan siya nina Paul Lee, Gabe Norwood, Jeff Chan, Jericho Cruz, Beau Belga at Raymond Almazan.

Sasandalan naman ng Barako Bull sina Liam McMorrow, Joseph Yeo, JC Intal, RR Garcia, Chico Lañete at Carlo Lastimosa.

Ang Beermen ay tatangkain ding maresbakan ang Bolts para makausad sa semifinals dahil natalo sila nito sa overtime, 106-95, sa kanilang sagupaan noong Mayo 9.

Ang San Miguel Beer ay pamumunuan ni Arizona Reid at tutulungan siya nina June Mar Fajardo, Arwind Santos, Marcio Lassiter, Alex Cabagnot at Chris Ross.

Ang Bolts ay sasandig naman kina Andre Emmett, Seiya Ando, Gary David, Cliff Hodge, Reynell Hugnatan, Sean Anthony at Mike Cortez.
