Pacquiao kay PNoy: Bigyan ng 2 jacket ‘yan

UMABOT ng 30 minuto ang pag-uusap nina Pangulong Aquino at Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao matapos mag-courtesy call ang boxing icon sa Malacanang Miyerkules ng hapon.

Sinabi ni Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) head Secretary Herminio “Sonny” Coloma na kasama ni Pacquiao sina Wilson Tieng, presidente ng Solar Sports at Michael Koncz, na tumatayong kanyang adviser.

Idinagdag ni Coloma na kinumusta ni Aquino ang bagong operang balikat ni Pacquiao. “He said he felt pain in his right shoulder in the final seconds of the third round and that this injury hampered his movement for the rest of the fight,” sabi ni Coloma.

Ayon pa kay Coloma, binati at pinasalamatan ni Aquino si Pacquiao sa pagbibigay ng karangalan sa bansa gamit ang kanyang tapang at kakayahan.

“The President observed that Mayweather may have projected himself as having been slightly more aggressive in the early rounds and that this may have influenced the eventual outcome, but that like most spectators, he observed that Mayweather avoided engaging Rep. Pacquiao at close quarters,” dagdag ni Coloma.

Ayon pa kay Coloma sinabi ni Pacquiao na magpapahinga muna siya matapos tanungin ni Aquino kung ano ang kanyang plano pagkatapos ng laban.

“They compared and exchanged observations on a topic of mutual interest: shooting as a recreational activity. The President shared with him some practical tips.

Rep. Pacquiao recalled how he joined the President at a shooting event a few years ago and asked if he may do so again as soon as he recovers from his injury — and the President nodded his head in agreement,” sabi ni Coloma.

Binigyan ni Pacquiao si Aquino ng dalawang itim na jacket na mga souvenir mula sa kanyang laban.
