THERE is an issue about insensitivity when Kris Aquino reportedly said in her own talk show na sa mga food trips nila sa kanilang programa ay may patakaran na si Darla Sauler, her amiable assistant, ang unang titikim sa pagkain para masiguradong hindi malalason ang Queen of Talk.
We chanced upon a Twitter account in which Kris’ assistant was asked, “@darLasauLer sis, hindi ka ba na-offend sabi ni Kris ang patakaran sa lahat ng food trips nyo ikaw muna titikim dahil sa milk tea scare?”
This was followed by another message which said, “Diba? So Darla is just disposable for Kris Aquino? How mean and insensitive. #RespectDARLA! @darLasauLer.”
There were mixed reactions on this issue. One obvious fan of Kris defended the TV host and said, “It was obviously a joke haha don’t make a big deal out of it.”
Na sinagot naman ng isang guy ng, “Joke ain’t funny if someone actually died from it.”
“Anlakas maka food taster ng hari at reyna ganon, dapat may hazard pay si Darla,” commented one guy.
If Kris really said it, in bad taste ito lalo pa’t merong milk tea scare sa bansa after mamatay ang dalawang tao. Kris should have thought about the repercussions of her statement.
There was one guy who told us that even her co-hosts are not spared from her antics.
Siyempre, who are they to say no to Kris.
