Napoles guilty sa illegal detention; hinatulan ng habambuhay na pagkabilanggo

janet napolesSININTENSIYAHAN ng Makati City court ang umano’y reyna ng pork barrel scam na si Janet Lim-Napoles ng habambuhay na pagkabilanggo matapos mapatunayang guilty sa kasong serious illegal detention na inihain sa kanya ng whistleblower na si Benhur Luy.
Bukod sa pagkakabilanggo ng 30 taon, pinagbabayad din ng Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 150 si Napoles ng P100,000 matapos naman ang iligal na pagdedetine sa dating empleyado at kamag-anak na si Luy.
Nauna nang kinasuhan si Napoles at ng kanyang kapatid na si Reynald Jojo Lim ng tatlong buwang iligal na pagdedetine sa kanilang pinsan na si Luy.
Nailigtas si Luy noong Marso 2013.
Bukod sa kasong serious illegal detention, nahaharap din si Napoles sa kasong plunder kasama ang ilang mga mambabatas kaugnay ng P10-bilyong pork barrel scam.
Nananatili namang nagtatago si Lim.
