Kampo ni Pacquiao at Mayweather nag-aaway sa tiket at kuwarto

SUMIKLAB ang iringan sa pagitan ng kampo ni Manny Pacquiao at Floyd Mayweather Jr., wala nang isang buwan bago ang kanilang nakatakdang laban sa Mayo 2.
Sa ulat ng Yahoo Sports, sinabi ni Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, na siya ring promoter ni Pacquiao, na walang kontrata sa pagitan ng mga promoter ng laban at ng MGM Grand.
“I don’t know any more. I’ve never been in this area before,” sabi ni Arum.
Samantala, sinabi naman ni ni Leonard Ellerbe, CEO ng Mayweather Promotions na kalokohan ang posibilidad na manganib na hindi matuloy ang laban.
Kabilang sa mga pinag-aawayan ng dalawang kampo ay bilang ng mga tiket, ilang mga kuwarto ang mapupunta sa MGM at sa mga promoter.
“The reason this fight is in Las Vegas is because Floyd Mayweather insisted it be in Las Vegas. … It’s no secret that Bob is the one who wanted to shop the fight around. You have to remember, he went on a profanity-laced tirade ridiculing the MGM and its management. We’re not falling for those tactics. Every time he doesn’t get his way, he goes running to the press misrepresenting the facts,” sabi ni Ellerbe.
Si Ellerbe ang isa sa mga nakikipagnegosasyon sa MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Ayon sa ulat ng Yahoo, isang memo ang pinirmahan ng dalawang kampo bago pa man inanunsiyo ni Mayweather ang nasabing laban noong Pebrero 20 kung saan nakasaad dito kung ilang tiket at ilang kuwarto ang mapupunta sa MGM at sa mga promoter. Isinalin ni Shane M. Salandanan
