Piling artificial nail art delikado sa kalusugan

Pinag-iingat ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ang publiko sa paggamit ng pekeng kuko na maaari umanong maging sanhi ng allergic reactions.
Ayon sa FDA, lumabas sa pagsusuri ng Central laboratory nito na may artificial nail sets na nagtataglay ng Dibutyl Phthalate.
“This substance is a banned ingredient included on the List of Substances which “Must Not Form Part of the Composition of Cosmetic Products,” ayon sa FDA.
Maaari umanong makapagdulot ng allergic reaction ang Dibutyl Phthalate at may mga pagkakataon umano na nakaka-apekto ito maging sa immune system ng isang tao.
“Allergic reactions can induce a state of hypersensitivity in the immune system. It can cause the immune system to respond to chemical exposures with immunological reactions that are harmful, varying from hives to life threatening responses such as anaphylactic shock, where low blood pressure and breathing difficulties can result in death.”
Pinayuhan ng FDA ang publiko na bumili lamang ng produktong rehistrado sa kanilang tanggapan.
Inatasan na nito ang lahat ng Field Regulatory Officers upang bantayan ang kanilang lugar upang matukoy ang mga produktong walang FDA approval.
