Badly written and badly directed.

That’s our assessment on the latest infomercial of the MTRCB that was previewed by the entertainment press recently starring Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.

The infomercial showed Ryan and Juday in their typical morning situation sa bahay nila. While watching TV, biglang nagtanong ang daughter nila kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng kabit after nitong mapanood sa isang teleserye  sa TV.

We felt that the infomercial contextualized the word kabit and put malice in it. Of all the word, kabit ang ginamit nila para ipakita na there are some words being spoken on TV na napapanood ng bata.

What were they driving at? Na merong shows na hindi dapat pinapanood ng mga bata dahil nakakakuha sila ng mga salitang hindi kanais-nais.

We also felt that the infomercial was a SUBTLE SWIPE at kabits. Maraming kabit sa showbiz, the reason why teleseryes feast on their stories.

We also felt na hindi naman kailangan ng director ang ganoong 30 seconder infomercial.

It was very MEDIOCRE, parang hindi gawa ng isang professional. Very AMATEURISH ang dating. Truly, it was a waste of money, time and effort. VERY TRASHY!!!

Mas marami pang makabuluhang concept na pwedeng gamitin ang MTRCB para sa kanilang infomercial, masyado na kasing gasgas ang isyu ng mga kabit sa Pilipinas.
