Ito’y may kaugnayan pa rin sa kasong isinampa niya laban kay Derek for violation of Republic Act No. 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.

“There’s no love. He’s destroyed all that. It’s been 11 years. It’s destroyed, there’s nothing left to give,” aniya sa interview ng ABS-CBN.

“I want him back in Austin’s life, my son’s life. I want him back only in my son’s life,” dagdag pa nito.

“I wanted to know my son first and keep my relationship with him private. (He) was just an 8-year-old boy then and he would not be able to comprehend the possible media curiosity about him, especially since he was then new to the country and about to pursue his education here,” ani Derek.

“Given the circumstances between Mary and I, which is far from ideal, I had to protect (my son) first,” ani Derek.
