Dingdong takot magsalita sa pagtsugi kay Ate Guy sa National Artist Award
As expected, no comment ang isinagot ni Dingdong Dantes sa hindi pagkakasama ni Nora Aunor sa mga bagong hihiranging National Artist ng bansa.
Alam naman ng lahat na malapit ang aktor kay pangulong Noynoy Aquino kaya naiintindihan namin ang kanyang posisyon.
Ayon kay Dong, hindi siya magko-comment tungkol sa isyu dahil hindi siya aware kung ano ang mga basehan sa pagpili ng National Artist.
Pero para sa kanya, nire-recognize niya ang mga nai-contribute ng Superstar sa industriya ng telebisyon at pelikula. Nabasa namin ang naging statament ni Dingdong, sabi niya, “Whether she’ll be given that National Artist recognition or not, sa akin, she’s the only Nora Aunor na meron tayo dito sa ating industriya…ang maiiwan niyang legacy.”
