PBA nagpataw ng P20K multa sa Alaska import, apat na iba pang manlalaro

NAGPATAW ang PBA Commissioner’s Office kahapon ng kabuuang P115,000 multa sa mga manlalarong sangkot sa magkakahiwalay na away sa mga ginanap na tune-up matches nitong linggo.

Magkakahiwalay na nakaharap ni PBA commissioner Chito Salud sina Gary David, Bill Walker, Danny Ildefonso, June Mar Fajardo, Arwind Santos, Jondan Salvador at Mark Yee sa nakalipas na dalawang araw bago inilabas ang kanilang parusa.

Ang bagong import ng Alaska Aces na si Walker, Ildefonso, David, Santos at Salvador ay pinagmulta ng P20,000 habang sina Yee at Gabby Espinas ay pinagmulta ng P10,000 at P5,000.

Ang multa ayon sa pahayag ng liga ay “for court misconduct and misdemeanor during their respective tuneup games.”

Ayon pa sa ulat, si Walker at ang beteranong forward-center na si Ildefonso ay nagkagirian sa ikaapat na yugto ng Meralco Bolts-Alaska Aces tune-up game noong Martes, bago nakisalo si David at sinuntok si Walker.

Ilang oras matapos nito, isa ring away ang nangyari sa exhibition match ng San Miguel Beermen at Globalport Batang Pier kung saan sinapak umano ni Salvador si Fajardo na sinaklolohan naman ng kakamping si Santos.

Ang mga laro ay paghahanda naman ng mga nasabing koponan para sa PBA Governors’ Cup na magsisimula bukas sa Smart Araneta Coliseum sa Cubao, Quezon City.
