MAG-AAGAWAN ngayon ang NLEX at Boracay Rum para sa kanilang ikalawang sunod na panalo habang ganito rin ang pakay ng Café France sa pagpapatuloy ng 2014 PBA D-League Foundation Cup sa Trinity University of Asia Gym sa Quezon City.

Unang laro ang tapatan ng Road Warriors at Waves sa ganap na alas-2 ng hapon at marami ang naniniwalang balikatan ang magaganap sa larong ito matapos ang magarang panalo sa kanilang unang asignatura.

Gumana ang depensa ng Road Warriors sa second half upang katampukan ang 102-84 panalo sa nagdedepensang kampeong Blackwater Sports habang ang Waves ay nagpakita ng mas magandang teamwork sa 79-69 panalo sa Cagayan Valley.

“I don’t think we have an advantage against NLEX because they are a tough team. But I can guarantee that we will give them a good fight,” wika ni Boracay Rum coach Lawrence Chongson.

Si Fil-Italian Chris Banchero, na gumawa ng 22 puntos sa nakuhang panalo, ang pangunahing manlalaro ng Boracay pero may maaasahan siyang suporta galing sa kanyang mga kasamahan tulad ng beteranong guard na si Rudy Lingganay na isinama sa koponan sa conference na ito.
“We can’t take them for granted. We need to play good defense if we want to win in this game,” tugon ni Road Warriors coach Boyet Fernandez.
