Patafa bumuo ng sariling investigating committee

ITINALAGA ng Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association (Patafa) sina Alberto Lina, Atty. Heherson Simpliciano at Atty. Victor Africa para sa hiwalay na imbestigasyon sa mga reklamo laban sa mga national coaches na sina Joseph Sy at Roselinda Hamero.

Tinapik din ni Go si dating PSC chairman Aparicio Mequi para sa isang komite na susuri sa lahat ng coaches at atleta ng Patafa.
Kumilos si Go matapos ang pagkakaroon ng paksyon sa hanay ng mga coaches at athletes na nangyari dahil nawala siya ng halos isang taon dahil sa kanyang karamdaman.

Sina Sy at Hamero ay inalisan ng PSC ng sahod sa alegasyon na nagpapabaya na sila sa kanilang trabaho.Ang akusasyon na nagmula kay Commissoner Jolly Gomez ay sinuportahan ng paglabas ni Southeast Asian Games long jump gold medalist Henry Dagmil na sinabing hindi siya nabigyan ng training program mula ng pumasok sa national team noong 2000.

Isiniwalat pa ni Dagmil ang pautang ni Sy at ang paghawak niya ng mga ATMs ng mga atleta bagay na ipinagbabawal ng Komisyon. “We will put to rest all these issues against our coaches and athletes.

This committee will report directly to me and I will see to it that only a stronger national team is formed and only the most competent coaches are chosen,” wika ni Go.

Samantala, ipinasa na ng three-man panel na inatasan ng PSC na magsagawa ng imbestigasyon sa kasong pagpapabaya kina Sy at Hamero ang kanilang report kay Garcia.

Isang board meeting ang gagawin ng board ngayon o bukas at tatalakayin nila ang rekomendasyon ng panel.
