Mali-maling English ni Melanie isasalin sa libro

MELANIE MARQUEZ

Thony Halili and the Rotary Club of Tanauan ay maituturing na isa sa pinakamasaya naming out of town events.

Kasi nga, kasama namin ang ilang members of the entertainment press to witness the event plus the company of some artists very close to our hearts like former Miss International (1979) Melanie Marquez, versatile actor Patrick Garcia and Dra.

Gosh! Yung kuwento ng kaniyang Melanism – ang mali-maling grammar niya ang topic of the night, she opened the topic to the delight of everyone.

Ha-hahaha! Sa totoo lang, pinagtatawanan ko ang sarili ko tuwing may naririnig akong comments about me, kasi nga totoo naman sila, di ba? Kaya hindi ako nau-offend.

“Tulad nu’ng minsang kausap ko ang lawyer ko, panay ang sabi ko ng bridge of contract, mali pala iyon – breach of contract pala. Ha-hahaha! Yung parasite instead of paralyzed. Nakakaloka! Kaya might as well come up with a book, compilation ng mali-mali kong grammar para mas ma-enjoy nila ang mga kalokahan ko.

“Tatawagin ko itong ‘MIMI BY ME’ at malamang na iri-release ko ito bago matapos ang taon,” ani Melanie na kahit naka-braces pa ang likod ay nakuha pa ring mag-judge sa first-ever Parade of Lights sa Tanauan.
