Bianca, Jodi, Atom, Nadine, iba pang celebs nanggagalaiti kay Suntay: ‘Lala mo!’

MARAMING celebrities pa ang nagkaisa at naglabas ng sama ng loob laban kay Quezon City Fourth District Rep. Bong Suntay matapos ipahayag ang umano’y pag-iinit niya nang makita si Anne Curtis.

Ayon sa mga artista at personalidad, hindi nararapat ang ganitong pahayag mula sa isang opisyal ng gobyerno, lalo na kung ito ay binanggit pa sa loob mismo ng Kongreso.

Naganap ang kontrobersyal na pahayag ni Suntay noong Martes, March 3, sa pagdinig ng Kongreso kaugnay ng impeachment complaint laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte. 

Sa naturang pagdinig, ginamit umano ni Suntay ang halimbawa ng kanyang “desire” kay Anne upang ipaliwanag na ang isang ideya o pahayag ay hindi maaaring parusahan kung nanatili lamang itong nasa “imagination” at walang naging aksyon.

Agad namang kumalat sa social media ang video clip ng naturang pahayag, na naging dahilan para magsalita ang ilang kilalang personalidad.

Kabilang sa mga pumuna ang TV host na si Bianca Gonzalez.

“Please let us NOT NORMALIZE THIS BEHAVIOR. DISGUSTING, especially for a public servant,” bungad niya sa X (dating Twitter).

“The fact that there is no remorse, no clue as to why what he said was offensive and inappropriate, and even commented in an interview that ‘she should take my remark as a compliment’ is what makes this disgusting comment even more disgusting,” giit pa ng celebrity mom.

Naglabas din ng saloobin ang broadcast journalist na si Atom Araullo.

Samantala, humingi na ng paumanhin si Suntay kaugnay ng kanyang naging pahayag tungkol kay Anne. 

Gayunman, nanindigan siya sa ginamit niyang analogy at iginiit na wala raw itong malisya. 

Sinabi rin niya na dapat daw ituring ni Anne na “compliment” ang kanyang remark.

Sa ngayon, wala pang inilalabas na pahayag mismo si Anne hinggil sa isyu. 

Ang aktres ay kasalukuyang nasa Oman, kasama ang asawang si Erwan Heussaff at ang kanilang anak na si Dahlia matapos ma-reroute ang kanyang flight dahil sa tensyon sa Middle East.
