Rachelle Anne 1 taon sa London para sa ‘Saigon’

Namamayagpag ang mga local actors natin sa stage. Definitely one of the biggest news this year is GMA girl Rachelle Anne Go bagging the Gigi role in the West End revival of “Miss Saigon” na siyang nagpasikat noon kay Lea Salonga in the title role.

We met Rachelle Anne sa “The Addams Family” play last Friday and this early, excited na siya to start her international experience.

Bale ito raw ang last Christmas niya with her family so sasagad-sagarin niya ito dahil by March, she’s moving to London to start rehearsal and she’s contracted to stay for 14 months there.

Of course the other stars are reigning onstage. There’s the foursome of Frencheska Farr, Gian Magdangal, Iya Villania and Ciara Sotto plus newbie Rafa Siguion-Reyna rocking in “Grease” sa Carlos P Romulo Theater sa RCBC until Dec. 9; Eula Valdez and Arnell Ignacio vamping it with the stage veterans sa “The Addams Family” sa Meralco Theater until Dec. 1 and of course there’s G Toengi in a musical we have yet to watch, Repertory Philippines’ “The Producers” running onstage sa Greenbelt Onstage Theater until Dec. 15.

Then there’s “Maxie The Musical” sa PETA Theater na magri-resume ang performance this Friday, Nov. 29 plus Saturday and Sunday.

Magtatapos ang “Maxie” sa Dec. 8 starring Protégé I finalist Nomer Limatog. Jr. almost stealing the whole show save for our new stage crush Jojo Riguerra playing the police guy Victor.

At eto na, nag wardrobe malfunction pala si Jojo last weekend during the quick change in one of the scene at may nakita raw na gusto rin naming makita sa underwear niya sayang we weren’t there. Maulit kaya ito just in case?
