MARAMING celebrities ang nagulat at nalungkot sa latest Instagram post ng aktres na si Janine Gutierrez.
Ibinalita niya kasi sa publiko na pumanaw na ang kanyang mamita at tinaguriang Asia’s Queen of Songs na si Pilita Corrales sa edad 85.
Isa sa mga unang-unang nagkomento ay ang kanyang rumored boyfriend na si Jericho Rosales na ibinandera ang isang white heart emoji.

Sa nasabing IG post, kinumpirma ni Janine ang pagpanaw ng iconic singer kasabay ng kahilingang ipagdasal ang kaluluwa ng kanyang lola.
“She will be remembered for her contributions to the entertainment industry, but most of all for her love of life and family,” sey sa bahagi ng post.
Ani pa ng Kapamilya star, “Please join us with your prayers and kind thoughts as we celebrate her beautiful life.”
Sa anim na dekada ni Pilita sa mundo ng showbiz, nakapaglabas siya ng 135 albums at nakapag-perform din side by side kasama ang mga big international artists noon na sina Bob Hope, Sammy Davis, Matt Monroe at iba pa.
Sikat ang batikang singer sa kanyang classic hits na “A Million Thanks To you” at “Kapantay ay Langit”.
Bukod sa pagkanta, isa rin siyang magaling na artista na bumida sa mga pelikulang “Pa-Bandying Bandying” (1968), at “Miss Wawaw” (1969).
Sa telebisyon naman ay naging host siya ng “The Pilita and Jackie Show” (BBC-2), “Ang Bagong Kampeon” (RPN-9), “An Evening with Pilita” (ABS-CBN), at sa Kapuso sitcom na “Lagot ka, Isusumbong Kita” (GMA-7).
