“Parang I think, sabi ko, this time around, parang I was able to really put that behind me na. Yung I can confidently say now na hindi na ako iinom ever tfor the rest of my life.
“Because of kumbaga moving on and making those decisions, nakita mo all these great things happen in your life.
“So parang nandu’n na ako sa this is the right path. This is the right decision. It might not be the easiest kasi siyempre you have to keep quiet and behaved, di ba?
“Be patient. Hindi siya madali minsan pero you just have to trust the process.
Ani Jake, napag-usapan nila ni Baron ang tungkol sa pagkagumon sa alak, “Yeah, actually…well ako naman, with yung journey ni Baron with his sobriety, I wish him all the best.
“Like, good luck and Godspeed! Alam ko kung gaano kahirap yun, and I don’t fault people for making mistakes kasi, if you fall off or merong mangyari sa yo.
“Kasi I can tell you now, e. Na quitting alcohol was the most difficult thing I ever had to do. Talagang ang hirap! It’s hard and then you go through a problem and then you wanna drink din, alam mo yun.
“And then you have to really parang go through obstacles to confidently say na, ‘OK, hindi na ako iinom.’ I’ve put in so many years na I can confidently say, ‘Hindi na ako iinom.’ But like a year is not even enough to say that.
“Parang two years you’re just getting the confidence to say it. On the third year mo masasabi na, ‘Okay, I can live without ever drinking again.’
“So kay Baron, it’s a long road ahead. And for whatever his accomplishments, sobriety, congratulations and Godspeed! And good luck, mahirap talaga siya,” lahad ni Jake.
“Talaga if you ask me, may mga narinig ako, e. They don’t wanna discuss pa the final date pero napanood ko na yung main picture. We had to dub it. Napanood ko yung movie. My God! Nakaka-proud yung pelikula!
My directors there… they’re the best. Even itong susunod nilang show, Incognito with Richard, Baron, and all of them, good luck and Godspeed sa show nila!
“And I’m so sure it’s gonna be a great show. Kasi those directors for me are the best.
“So exciting itong movie namin ni Baron.
