LUMABAN hanggang sa kahuli-hulihan niyang hininga ang tinaguriang “Gifted Child” sa isang formula milk TV commercial na si CJ de Silva-Ong.
Sumakabilang-buhay na si CJ na isang artist at creative director kahapon ng umaga, June 18. Siya ay 36 years old.
Siguradong pamilyar si CJ sa mga batang 90s dahil una nga siyang nakilala bilang “Gifted Child” sa commercial ng Promil.

Ibinahagi ng kanyang asawang si Wincy Ong ang malungkot na balita ngayong araw, June 18, sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Facebook account kung saan sinabi nga nitong, “She fought to the very end.”
Mababasa sa kanyang FB status, “Sadly, yesterday at 10:45AM, while in the ICU, our beloved Cj suffered two strokes, and finally became one with the Universe.
“She was a loving wife to me, a loving cat-mom to our cats Andres and Max, and a loving daughter to her parents and uncle.
“She was a passionate Executive Creative Director in the industry she loved so much–advertising,” simulang pagbabahagi ni Wincy.
Sa mga hindi pa masyadong aware, nagsilbing creative director si CJ sa mundo ng advertising kaya patuloy na pahayag ng kanyang mister, “She used her talents in illustration and painting in championing causes close to heart.”

Inalala rin ni Wincy ang panahong paulit-ulit na ipinalalabas sa telebisyon ang commercial ng yumaong misis kung saan ibinabandera ang pagiging Gifted Child nito.
“Most of you would remember her as a Promil Gifted Child in those commercials in the Nineties, but from the many people who visited the hospital or sent in a message or two, I learned that Cj was a gift herself to the people who came to know her.
“Behind that tough and take-charge person you may know is such a sweet, caring girl. I will always remember her for the kindness she brought to people.
“She always told me she’d wanted a funeral that was fun and not so serious. Let’s celebrate her 36 amazing years here on this planet by filling it with things that made her happy–music, conversations, coffee, and good food,” pahayag pa niya.
Sa huling bahagi ng kanyang FB post, ipinaalam ni Wincy ang detalye ng isasagawang wake para kay CJ.
“The Heritage Park, Taguig. June 20, Thursday to June 22, Saturday. Cremation service will be on June 23, Sunday,” aniya.
