“I was kidnapped by my own dad. I was less than a year old. It was the day that he was supposed to pick me up from “An Evening with Pilita” [Corrales]. They separated na kasi and it was his time to pick me up,” panimula ni Jackie Lou.
Pagpapatuloy ni Jackie Lou, “He had the signature of my mom forged so we were able to fly. My mom was in [her show and] when she found out [na itinakas ako], she rushed to the airport only to find out that we left already.”

My mom didn’t send my dad to jail. She didn’t. And I asked her, ‘Why, mom? Why didn’t you send dad to jail?’ ‘Cause I know why he did it. He did it out of love.
“If my mom robbed me of that, I would have never known my dad. So if that is not unconditional love, I do not know what it is,” sey ni Jackie Lou.
“I feel blessed that I still have my mom… I’m just thankful that she’s still around because I lost my dad so young. I look at her and I just thank God for giving me a mom like her.
“I hope that God gives her many more years with us,” hiling ni Jackie Lou.
