To be distributed by Universal Records this coming March 15, feeling blessed and thankful si Ronnie na siya ang first male artist to officially release the hit song originally sung by Ice Seguerra in 2007.

“I feel so blessed dahil ipinagkatiwala sa akin ang song na ito. As an artist, I gave the song my own interpretation. It’s a great OPM song that celebrates love.

“I believe it’s every artist’s goal – to inspire others to love or amplify the love they already have,” aniya.

“I guess there will be that person who will come into your life to bring hope and open your heart to love again. I hope to be that kind of person. I am looking forward to inspiring more people through my music, which is my first love,” dagdag ng “Ngiti” hitmaker.

Speaking of love, muli ngang pinatunayan ni Ronnie ang kanyang pagmamahal sa mga Filipino at sa Pilipinas matapos pumayag na mag-perform sa 50th Founding Anniversary Celebration ng Basilan Province last March 4.

Sinundan pa ito ng pagbisita niya sa ilang paaralan (Basilan State College at Claret College of Isabela) kung saan nagbigay siya ng inspirational message tungkol sa kahalagahan ng edukasyon at nationalism.

He was also adopted as an honorary member of the special forces and he received recognition for his contribution to the army from the 4th Special Forces Battalion led by Ltc. Adolfian Garceron INF (GSC) PA.

Paglalarawan niya sa pagtungo niya sa Basilan – “humbling and life-changing”, “When I received a call from Philippine Army that I will be sent to Basilan for a mission, I felt excited.

“I am so happy to have visited Basilan and I have seen the big improvements when it comes to Peace and Development in the area. Seeing our soldiers’ sacrifices is indescribable. They truly are living heroes.

“For many years, our soldiers have sacrificed their lives in the name of service and duty. Thank you to all the men and women in uniform who always fulfill their sworn oath to serve and answer the call of duty in the name of peace and liberty, for our family, and the future of our children,” aniya pa.

“While you have the capacity to help, the smallest act of kindness can make an impact on other people’s lives. Seeing their faces and their parents’ faces touched me.

“Of course, many of you probably know that this foundation is inspired by my hit song “Ngiti.” A lot of kids with cleft lip and cleft palate are in line to get assistance. Their smiles inspire me,” sabi pa ng singer na isa na rin ngayong piloto.
