PAREHONG naluha sina Boy Abunda at Chanda Romero nang balikan ang ilang eksena sa kanilang buhay ilang taon na ngayon ang nakararaan.

Muling nagkita at nagkausap ang dalawa makalipas ang 15 years sa studio ng Kapuso afternoon program na “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” recently.

Naging special guest ni Tito Boy si Chanda sa nasabing show kung saan inalala nga nila ang mahahalagang kaganapan sa kanilang buhay bilang magkaibigan.

Napa-throwback ang dalawa nu’ng  panahong tinulungan ng King of Talk ang beteranang aktres noong down na down ito sa buhay at humaharap sa matinding pagsubok.

“There are friends who don’t see each other that long, pero ang lakas ng loob kong sabihing kaibigan kita.

“Dahil sobrang pagmamahal ko sa ‘yo. At ang respeto ko talaga sa ‘yo hanggang doon,” ang sabi ni Tito Boy kay Chanda.

Kuwento naman ng veteran actress, hinding-hindi niya malilimutan ang pagtulong at pagsagip sa kanya noon ng TV host.

“At the lowest point of my life, you and Robert really picked me up from the pits of my life.

“And you practically saved my life. I wouldn’t be here if you hadn’t been there, of course. Outside of the family, you and Robert saved my life,” sabi ni Chanda.


“I was coming from a space of love,” sey naman ni Tito Boy.

Kasunod nito, nabanggit ng premyadong TV host na super miss na miss na niya ang nanay ni Chanda na si Remedios Romero.

“I got some of the most meaningful letters from her,” sabi ni Tito Boy paungkol sa ina ni Chanda na si Remedios Romero na sumakabilang-buhay noong 2020 matapos makipaglaban sa COVID-19.

“I was so sad, because when she passed on, you couldn’t even go home,” pahayag ni Tito Boy sabay baling kay Chanda.

Sabi naman ng aktres, “If I could only just get wings and fly to Cebu. It broke my heart because during the days of the COVID, I was trying to warn her. She on her part naman just wanted to go out, see friends.

“Ako I said ‘Mom if you’re not careful and something happens to you, and you have comorbidities, it is going to be a very lonely death,’” pagbabahagi ng aktres.

“And it was. Hindi ako nakauwi. That was so difficult,” aniya pa.

Tanging ang kapatid lang daw niya ang nagdala sa kanilang ina sa emergency room. “My brother says, ‘When she turned her back, that was the last that he saw her alive,’” ang lumuluhang pag-alal ni Chanda.
