“Hey guys! We just want to say that we hear you and we understand your disappointment,” pahayag ng Lola Amour sa kanilang tweet nitong Huwebes, Oktubre 26.

Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “We were not sensitive enough about how the teaser was presented, and with that, we are sorry. We do hope you give the MV a chance as it was greatly misrepresented by the teaser.”

Commen naman ng isa sa teaser ng “Raining in Manila”, “The struggles of real people is not an aesthetic for you to exploit and then wash your hands from once you’re done. Poverty porn pa more.”

“It’s about a man who reconnects with his long lost wife through a magic gecko, all set in an alternate timeline where it has been raining for already 1427 days,” pagbabahagi ng indie band.

“I did watch the music video. I agree, at first I thought it was tone def and insensitive but idk, I watched the video and it was not even focused on the baha or ulan. I feel like it is a work of fiction with bits of reality lang. I suggest you watch it too,” sey ng isa.

Pag-explain naman ng isa sa MV ng Lola Amour, “i get why people r mad sa qrts, when this first dropped, medj off rin sakin. but when i watched the mv, it was clear na the bagyo & baha were used as a metaphor for the longing and sadness felt which is the same analogy used sa song, a concept that’s been done so many times na.”
