Sa kanyang Instagram post Habijan welcomed the Pride Month by posting two photos near the sea.

“WE, LGBTQIA+ PEOPLE, ARE PART OF YOUR WORLD!” say niya sa caption.
“For the last 5 years, I open Pride Month with @surftownpride in Elyu — near the sea,” she revealed.

She also admitted that she “once identified with Ariel”, one of the most popular characters in  Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”

“For the longest time, I sang that strong desire to be ‘where the people are, to wander free, and explore that shore above,'” say niya.

“However, the LGBTQIA-phobic Ursulas forced us to give up our voices to have those legs, jump, dance, and be one with humans. But, being voiceless meant hiding in fear,” dagdag pa niya.

“Thank God for the Pride movement and its brave movers! Globally, it has given back our voices to assert, ‘LGBTQIA+ people are an integral part of this world, worthy of respect, and must be treated equal.’ It amplified our call for inclusion and Blstand against LGBTQIA-phobia,” she said, quoting what King Triton once reminded Ariel, “You shouldn’t have had to give up your voice to be heard” — LET PRIDE IGNITE HOPE! WE WILL BE HEARD!”

“IN AND OUT OF THE SEA, WE WILL BE SEEN! AS A COMMUNITY, WE WILL WIN THIS BATTLE.”

“CHEERS TO AN EQUAL WORLD!” dagdag pa niya.

Pinili nila sina Justin at Nat bilang kani-kanilang first dates.
