Doc Willie Ong biktima rin ng fake ad, umalma kay Kris Aquino: I hope you can clarify this
NAGSALITA na ang doktor at dating vice presidential candidate na si Doc Willie Ong ukol sa pagkakadawit rin ng kanilang pangalan sa likod ng kumakalat na fake ad ukol sa “miracle food”.
Nilinaw ng doktor na wala silang kinalaman sa mileading endorsement na gumagamit ng pangalan at imahe ng Queen of All Media na si Kris Aquino para i-promote ang isang mixed nuts product na diumano’y nakatutulong sa paggaling ng mga malalang sakit gaya ng cancer, diabetes, at obesity.
Matapos ngang mag-trending ang balita ay agad umalma si Doc Willie at sinabing gaya ng aktres, biktima rin siya ng naturang fake ad.
“Notice to the Public: These are all obviously fake ads and scammer pages. And Ms. Kris Aquino and her lawyers may have been misled by these fake ads which are not mine po. I do not own nor endorse these products. Please be careful po.”
“Wala po ako ine-endorse na kahit anong produkto except for one which is Birch Tree Advance, which is a charity advocacy for seniors. All the rest including Mixed Nuts are fake po,” paglilinaw ni Doc Willie.
Paglalahad pa ng doktor, hindi rin daw siya ang may-ari ng mga Facebook pages at ginagamit lang ng mga ito ang kanyang pangalan.

“The fake ads issue is a worldwide problem of influencers. I, and many other influencers are the victims here.
“My official page has a Blue Verified check mark named Doc Willie Ong with 17 million followers,” sey niya.
Giit ni Doc Willie, ang lahat ng Facebook pages na nakapangalan sa kanya at may kaunti lang followers ay peke at ilang beses na rin niya itong nai-report.
“All FB pages with only a few followers using my name are fake pages po. I have no control on what fake pictures they post. I have reported this to FB for the past 5 years with little success since the scammers just keep making new FB accounts.”
Sey pa ni Doc Willie, matagal nang problema ng mga social media influencers ang paggamit ng kanilang pangalan na nag-eendorso ng produkto upang makapanloko ng ibang tao.
Pakiusap rin ng doktor sa kampo ni Kris, “I hope you can clarify this so as not to harm my reputation. Salamat po.”
