IMBES na panghinaan ng loob, nagsilbing inspirasyon sa OPM singer-songwriter na si Syd Hartha ang kanyang mga pagsubok sa buhay.
Sa katunayan nga ay ginawan pa niya ito ng album na pinamagatang “Gabay,” ang kauna-unahan niyang EP na kalalabas lang nitong March 22.
Ang 6-track album under Sony Music Entertainment ay tungkol sa mga naranasan niyang trauma, pagkasawi sa pag-ibig, stress at paghilom.
“My new EP is a compilation of different stories from my adventures and misadventures as a young woman,” paliwanag ng singer.
Dagdag pa niya, “It mainly talks about healing and taking control over your own destiny; letting go of the past, and getting to know yourself again.”
Naikwento rin ni Syd na dalawang taon naudlot ang pag-release ng kanyang debut album dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.

Dahil din daw sa nangyari ay kinailangan nilang palitan ang mga kanta at gumawa ulit ng panibago.
Chika ng OPM singer, “My band and I were already scheduled for the recording of the whole EP in March 2020. The pandemic happened, and it caused significant disruption to our plans.”
Patuloy niya, “But everything happens for a reason. It gave me room to explore and grow at my own pace.”
Nabanggit din ni Syd na ilang kantang tampok sa “Gabay” album ay inaamin niyang nagsilbing liwanag sa kanyang buhay.
Kwento niya, “I reached a point where I saw myself in the mirror and realized I didn’t recognize her anymore.”
“I knew I was sick of treating and talking negatively to myself and started to decide I wanted to create a new life for myself,” dagdag niya.
Sey pa niya, “I realized that I had to zoom out of my little box of self-loathing and see things through from a different perspective.”
Aniya, “During those moments, I realized that I wouldn’t even be alive forever, I might as well just have fun in this whole life thing, right?”
