AJ Raval, Angeli Khang patuloy ang labanan bilang reyna ng Vivamax; Vincent del Rosario nagpaliwanag sa ‘sex’ content
AJ Raval, Angeli Khang, Val del Rosario at Vincent del Rosario
DALAWANG taon makalipas ilunsad ang streaming app na Vivamax, nakuha agad nito ang kanilang target — ang maging number one platform sa buong Pilipinas.
At dahil nga sa phenomenal success nito, naisip ng mga bossing ng Viva Entertainment na mag-launch ng bagong streaming app, ang Viva Prime.
Magsisimula na ang operasyon nito simula sa January 29 kung saan mas marami pang pelikula at iba pang bonggang content ang maaaring mapanood mula sa library ng Viva Entertainment.
Sa grand launch ng Viva Prime last Thursday, natanong si Vincent del Rosario kung sino nga ba ang maituturing na box-office queen ng Vivamax ngayon.
“In terms of numbers, naglalaban sina Angeli (Khang) and AJ (Raval),” ang tugon ng COO at President ng Viva Films.
Unang bumida si AJ sa Vivamax Original sexy-comedy movie na “Paglaki Ko, Gusto Kong Maging Porn Star” habang si Angeli naman ay ipinakilala sa psychological thriller na “Taya.”
Samantala, nag-explain naman ni Ronan de Guzman, SVP at COO ng Vivamax kung ano ang kaibahan ng Viva Prime at ng Vivamax.

“All our contents offerings are found in the Vivamax mobile app and website.
“Inside our service will be two doors— Max which is for more risqué and mature content while Prime will cater to a general audience.
“The distinction is being made on the platform in order to further enhance existing parental controls on Max content while allowing ease of use for the general patronage of Prime content,” aniya pa.
Sinagot naman ni Vincent ang tanong kung puwede na nilang ibandera sa buong bansa na isa nang major force ngayon sa mundo ng streaming platforms ang Vivamax.
“Mahirap magbuhat ng bangko, but malinaw na we are here to stay sa negosyo ng streaming. Nakita namin na ito ang future, of course not discounting yung other platforms like free-to-air, cinema or pay TV.
“Nakikita namin na this is the future, direct to consumer na negosyo wherein, instantenously, malalaman mo ang feedback through the back end, analytics, ano yung nagustuhan ng mga tao, yung ayaw nila.
“That’s why we assembled a great team and all the unsung heroes of Vivamax. We’re happy and, hopefully, the next few years, merong isang Filipino streaming app na mare-recognize sa ibang bansa, hindi dahil sa mga Pilipino lang kundi pati sa mainstream market.
“Ronan mentioned there are 26,000 plus non-Pinoy subscribers in other territories so, I guess, that’s a testament to how our contents has traveled beyond language, beyond territories so happy kami,” paliwanag pa niya.
Nilinaw din niya ang perception ng marami na baka raw hindi mapanood sa Viva Prime ang mga artistang sumikat sa mga Vivamax Original movie at series tulad nina AJ Raval at Angeli Khang.
“I think, with the right roles, oo naman,” paniniguro ni Vincent na mapapanood sa Viva Prime ang sexy stars ng Vivamax.
“Kasi we see to it na may career growth yung mga artista regardless kung ano yung pinagsimulan nila. Yun ang intention and I think mangyayari yun,” chika pa niya.
Dagdag pa niya, “Just to clarify, yung imahe ng Vivamax baka perception lang. Kasi yung laman ng Vivamax na app, and you can count, walang 10 percent ang risqué, not more than 70 titles, 700 plus titles are pang-Viva Prime.
“Siyempre, maingay lang when you see an Angeli Khang movie or AJ Raval movie. Napag-uusapan sa social media.
“Pero if you dig deep in the app, you’ll see na nandoon sina Sharon Cuneta, lahat, all the big stars, sina Sarah Geronimo…nama-magnify lang (ang sexy image),” sabi pa niya.
