“What I really want to show is that whatever dream you have, whatever goal you have, or whatever skill you want to learn, you can achieve it as long as you’re committed.

“I want people to see that I can represent the Philippines. It’s been 4 years and I have learned so many things. This is another Celeste,” pahayag ng dalaga.

“Honestly, I don’t feel a pressure to be more Filipino because I know I am. I honestly find it very offensive but I know myself. I am Filipina and nobody can ever take that away from me,” tugon ng beauty queen.

At tungkol naman sa totoong meaning ng pagiging beauty queen, “I’ve discovered that being a beauty queen is more about being authentic, and having the ability to inspire others because of your authenticity.

“Not all beauty queens are the same. I am who I am and I hope people will like me for me,” aniya pa.

Not just to others, but most importantly, to yourself.

“I know that a lot of us face different types of stress and hardships, but always remember to love yourself and forgive yourself for your own shortcomings. You are not perfect. But you could always learn and grow.

“Let us all learn to normalize conversations about mental health and never stigmatize people suffering from mental health issues.

“Everyday, let’s all take the time to check on our friends and family. You don’t know the positive impact you can bring by just having a listening ear. And lastly, don’t forget to smile,” lahad pa ni Celeste.
