Caption niya, “Taking it easy this week in preparation for the marathon this coming Sunday.
“So much feels being back in the city, a place I once called home.”
We’re rooting for you… (red heart emoji)”
Sey naman ng Filipino-American drag performer na si Jiggly Caliente, “Best of luck in the marathon. You’re gonna slay as usual (red heart emoji)”
Finished running 32km last weekend — my longest run so far, and now we’re on the final stretch of training!”
“I faced a lot of setbacks the past few months…di ko lang shinare kasi kinabahan ako (monkey emoji) I was worried I couldn’t do the marathon anymore cos I got sick twice and previously got Covid. I missed training days and some of those essential long runs so I was really worried,” patuloy niya.
Dagdag pa ni Pia, “My performance suffered. I couldn’t get the mileage in, and I was slower than before.
“When you miss those long runs or you fail at reaching goals during training, you get so disappointed in yourself to the point of wanting to give up.
Aniya, “But but but…with the right guidance, support and A LOT of determination, I’M BACK. 32km done and my coach @gabbrosario is confident I can finish the 42km.
“So now the goal is to just finish the marathon. No matter how slow or fast it’ll take me. I realized that this isn’t a pageant. I’m not competing against anyone but myself.”
