Bassist ng The Dawn na si Mon Legaspi pumanaw na sa edad 54

Pumanaw na ang OPM Bassist ng legendary rock bands na “The Dawn” at “Wolfgang” na si Mon Legaspi.
Siya ay edad 54.
Inanunsyo ng bandang “The Dawn” ang pagkawala ni Legaspi kagabi sa pamamagitan ng Facebook post.
Sabi ng banda, lubos nilang ikinalulungkot ang pagkawala ng kanilang kaibigan.
“He joined our Creator earlier tonight due to cardiac arrest.
“Mon fought hard in the ICU and we are utterly heartbroken at the loss of a supremely professional musician, and a dear friend.”
Humingi din sila ng privacy para sa nagluluksang pamilya.
Nakiramay rin ang isa pa niyang banda na “Wolfgang” at sinabi ng drummer nito na si Manuel Legarda na maswerte silang nakatrabaho si Legaspi.
“We have been most fortunate to have had the chance to exoperience that passion in the music we created and brought life on stage together.”
Nakidalamhati rin ang radio personality at dating asawa ng bassist na si Thelma Bowlen.
Sabi niya, “Unlike many exes, Mon Legaspi and I remained friends. We met in college in 1986, married three years later, and were together for eighteen months.”
“We started as friends, were band mates, and eventually exes that shared a beautiful daughter,” dagdag pa niya.
Sikat ang The Dawn sa mga kantang “Salamat,” “I Stand With You,” at “Iisang Bangka.”
Habang ang Wolfgang naman ang nasa likod ng mga hit song na “Halik ni Hudas,” “Lion in Cages,” at “Vendetta Del Disco.”
