Billy tinalikuran lahat ng bisyo para sa pamilya: Hindi na ako umiinom at naninigarilyo, nawala rin ‘yung pakikipagbarkada

NGAYONG hapon na mapapanood ang pinakabagong game show with a twist ng GMA 7 na “The Wall Philippines” hosted by Billy Crawford.
Super excited na ang TV host-actor at singer sa kanyang pagbabalik-Kapuso makalipas ang napakahabang panahon, “I feel welcomed and at home. This collaboration has given me, as a host and an artist, the opportunity to be a freelancer and work with anyone. We also have other shows lined up and in the talks for now.”
Paniniguro naman niya sa comeback niyang project niya sa GMA, “I’m sure magugustuhan ng audience itong ‘The Wall’ because it’s a very exciting show. The best thing about game shows is you let people’s emotions out. We want the contestants to feel afraid, excited, sad and happy.”
Samantala, sa panayam naman ng GMA kay Billy, naibahagi niya ang ilang pagbabago sa kanyang personal life mula nang magkaroon na siya ng asawa’t anak.

“Ang nagbago sa akin honestly is ‘yung pananaw ko sa buhay. I don’t take as many risks anymore like before, kasi mas mahalaga na ‘yung buhay dahil may pamilya na ako ‘yung I want to live a long time for my family,” ani Billy.
Inamin din niya na mula nang maging asawa niya si Coleen ay itinigil na niya ang lahat ng bisyo, “Siguro ‘yung attitude ko like hindi na ako umiinom ng alcohol, hindi ako nagsisigarilyo, nawala ‘yung bisyo, nawala ‘yung pagbabarkada, alam mo ‘yun?
“I focused on what was important and ‘yung pinakaimportante is meron na akong pamilya. I have to put my best foot forward,” sabi pa ng TV host.
At kahit daw super busy na uli siya ngayon sa kanyang career, talagang naglalaan pa rin siya ng quality time para sa pamilya, “Oh yes, kasi I’m not doing naman lock in taping. I just do hosting then go back home. Hindi ko matatagalan na mawala sa family ko nang matagal. It’s because of them that nagbago ang priorities ko in life.
“It really changed kasi before, I used to do everything just for myself. But now, it has to be for my wife and my son. Sometimes, I bring them to my work and people enjoy my son so much.
“We’re also leaving for France. I will compete in the French version of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and I will bring them with me. First time namin to travel abroad since the pandemic so it’s exciting,” kuwento pa ng mister ni Coleen.
“As of now, I’m really just more focused on hosting. When it comes to acting, sa wife ko na lang yun. I’m just happy na patuloy akong binibigyan ng trabaho ng Viva at hindi ako titigil sa hosting because this is my passion and ito ang bumubuhay sa pamilya ko,” dagdag pang pahayag ng aktor.
Ano nga ba ang secret sa maayos at solid na solid pa rin nilang marriage ni Coleen? “We put God above all. Always, una ang Diyos sa amin. Just like other couples sa buong mundo, may struggles pa rin kami. Normal na tao lang kami, but a big blessing is I get to communicate well with my wife.
“We know what is happening in each other’s lives and our son brings us together. There will always be problems that will pop up but we have learned to deal with them. Kaysa mag-away kami, we’ve learned to compromise and trust one another,” sabi ni Billy.
