“The issue on the Valedictory Address of Mr. Jayvee Ayen has been dragging for days, especially in the social media/virtual world. A world we have to contend with aside from the real/physical one we have. A world that is sometimes more harsh than what we have in the daily grind,” saad ng pamunuan ng Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges.

“With all that has been said and done and on behalf of Mr. Jayvee Ayen, we apologize to Ms. Mariyela Mari G. Hugo for the carefree attitude of Mr. Ayen in unintentionally copying the idea and style of her speech without proper attribution. We apologize to all other individuals and entities who may have been offended and affected by this issue.”

“We knock on the generosity of hearts of everyone to allow this to pass without hatred towards the person as he moves on to start a career in his life as an entrepreneur or whatever path he would wish to take. We offer a reconciliatory gesture to Ms. Hugo and all others for the gap this issue has created.”

“Finally we appeal for sobriety and calm. Peace to all. Thank you and God bless.”

“While one may have good intentions, one must still check if the means to actualize those intentions are also ethically acceptable,” sey ni Mariyela.

Dagdag pa niya, “Borrowed ideas, even inspirations, should be cited or at the very least, acknowledged.”
“I hope that this issue serves as a reminder to everyone to review and uphold their standards.”
