Unang ‘center for exorcism’ sa Asia itatayo sa Pinas: ‘A product of more than 7 years of prayers’
Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula pinangunahan ang groundbreaking ceremony para sa unang center for exorcism sa Pilipinas at Asia
TULOY na ang pagpapatayo sa Pilipinas ng kauna-unahang “center for exorcism” sa buong Asia.
Ito ay tatawaging Saint Michael Center for Spiritual Liberation and Exorcism.
Ayon sa Office of Exorcism ng Archdiocese of Manila, nagsimula na ang construction nito matapos ang ginanap na groundbreaking ceremony para rito noong May 17, 2022 sa pangunguna ni Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula.
Ayon sa ulat, kasalukuyan na itong itinatayo sa Bernardino Street corner EDSA, Guadalupe Viejo, Makati City.
“A product of more than 7 years of prayers, planning and fundraising, this religious structure will be the first of its kind in Asia, if not the world,” ang nakasaad sa social media post ng Archdiocese of Manila.
Kapag natapos na ang construction ng Saint Michael Center for Spiritual Liberation and Exorcism, dito na rin ilalagay ang Commission on Extraordinary Phenomena, Ministry of Exorcism Office at ang Ministry on Visions and Phenomena Office ng Archdiocese of Manila.
Bukod dito, magsisilbi na ring headquarters ng Philippine Association of Catholic Exorcists (PACE) ang center for exorcism.
“This center will minister to those in bondage to the devil who are therefore the poorest of the poor and are usually overlooked,” sabi ni Rev. Fr. Francisco Syquia, ang director ng Office of Exorcism ng Archdiocese of Manila.
Narito ang paniniwala ng Catechism of the Catholic Church tungkol sa exorcism (1673): “When the Church asks publicly and authoritatively in the name of Jesus Christ that a person or object be protected against the power of the Evil One and withdrawn from his dominion, it is called exorcism. Jesus performed exorcisms and from him the Church has received the power and office of exorcizing.”
Marami-rami na ring kaso ng sanib o sapi ang naitala ng Simbahang Katolika sa Pilipinas at karamihan nga sa mga ito ay nangyayari sa mga probinsya.
Karaniwang sinasaniban ng masasamang ispiritu ay mga kabataan na napapanood pa nga natin sa iba’t ibang documentary at magazine show sa telebisyon.
Maraming naniniwala sa sanib at sapi pero may mga Filipino rin ang hindi pa rin kumbinsido sa mga ganitong pangyayari.
