14th month pay isinusulong sa Senado

TYPE mo bang magkaroon ng 14th month pay?
Ito ngayon ang isinusulong ni Senador Tito Sotto nang imungkahi niya ang Senate Bill 1645.
Sa kanyang inihaing panukala, nais niyang makatanggap ang mga rank-and-file employees ng 14th month pay kada taon, na ayon sa kanya ay siyang babalanse sa mga dagdag gastusin ng mamamayan dulot nang walang humpay na pagtaas ng presyo ng mga bilihin.
Anya, ang panukalang 14th month pay ay hindi dapat bababa sa kalahati ng total basic salary na tinatanggap ng isang empleyado.
“We need extra earnings in the middle of the year to help in school and medical expenses. Health and education needs of the ordinary Filipino must be assisted by our government,” ayon sa senador.
Ang kasalukuyang mandatory na 13th-month pay ay kadalasan nauuwi na lang sa mga gastusin kapag Pasko.
Ngayon pa lang ay mabilis namang inalmahan ng Employers Confederation of the Philippines ang panukala ni Sotto, na anila, ay magiging masyadong pabigat sa kanila at posibleng magbadya ng pagkalugi at pagkawala ng trabaho.
