KC Concepcion pinalitan si Toni Gonzaga bilang lead star sa US movie na ‘Asian Persuasion’
CONFIRMED! Kasama nga ang TV host at aktres na si KC Concepcion sa upcoming American movie na “Asian Persuasion.”
Ibinahagi ni KC sa kanyang Instagram page ngayong araw ang bonggang good news at kung sinu-sino ang makakasama niya sa nasabing international film.
Ipinost ng panganay ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta sa IG ang screengrab ng feature article mula sa Variety Magazine kung saan makikita ang kanyang head shot pati na ng iba pa niyang Filipino co-actors na sina Dante Basco, Paolo Montalban at Jax Bacani.
Makakasama rin sa pelikula sina Apl.de.Ap, Yam Concepcion, Fe delos Reyes, Tony Labrusca at Rex Navarrete.
Sabi ng dalaga, katatapos lamang daw ng “day 3” ng kanilang shooting, “Thank you for joining us on this new journey. Grateful to be part of this Asian-American project, with our amazing cast & crew.”

Base sa report ng Variety, pinalitan ni KC ang TV host-singer at aktres na si Toni Gonzaga bilang lead star ng “Asian Persuason,” na siya namang directorial debut ng three-time Tony Awards and Grammy Awards winner Jhette Tolentino.
“Set in New York, romantic comedy ‘Asian Persuasion’ features a diverse, primarily Asian cast and seeks to elevate, inform and inspire the Asian narrative,” ayon pa sa article ng Variety.
Iikot ang kuwento ng nasabing US movie sa buhay ni Mickey na isang chef “who has been trying to overcome tragedy while trying to establish a Michelin-rated Filipino restaurant.
“As life continues to be unkind, Mickey comes up with scheme involving online dating and getting remarried. “Everything goes smoothly until Mickey’s plot backfires on him,” ang nakasaad sa The Asian Persuasion Instagram page.
“Asian Persuasion is produced under the Jhett Tolentino Productions banner with Tolentino and screenwriter Mike Ang serving as producers,” sabi pa sa nasabing artikulo.
Matatandang nag-post din si KC sa Instagram sa mismong araw ng kanyang kaatawan ng tungkol sa gagawin niyang international movie, “being back on set for my birthday, doing what I’ve always loved, is a celebration in itself.
“Coming back to acting + living in New York for work is another dream come true,” sabi niya sa caption ng kanyang IG photo.
