“OKAY na okay po ako!”
Ito ang siniguro ni Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez sa lahat ng nag-aalala sa kanya matapos bumagsak ng dalawang beses sa ginanap na grand coronation night.
Ayon kay Tracy, marami siyang natatanggap na mensahe mula sa kanyang mga kapamilya, kaibigan at tagasuporta na nagtatanong kung wala bang naging epekto sa katawan niya ang magkasunod na pagkadulas at pagkatumba niya sa stage.
“Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako or mahihiya o malulungkot na naging trending mismong coronation night because of the fall that I had, not only once but twice,” ang pahayag ng Pinay beauty queen sa panayam ng “Sakto.”
Aniya pa, “Pero ako naman I would just like to address ‘yung mga concern ng mga tao, I’ve been receiving so many messages po and they are really worried about what happened at saka super sama raw ng bagsak ko.”
Paniniguro ng dalaga, “Pero okay naman po ako. I am very fine and parang iniisip ko na lang na kahit ano pa ang mangyari I was still able to stand back up.
“And gagamitin ko na lang siyang inspiration ang feeling ko that time, dalawang pagbagsak sa pangalawang Miss World crown ng Philippines.
“Siguro po it was a mixture po of a little bit of everything. Siguro the gown, the heels, the stage, lahat-lahat na po. Pero rest assured gagawin ko po lahat. My stamina is okay. Lahat-lahat, everything is okay. Very much healthy po,” lahad pa ni Tracy.
Siya ang magiging representative ng bansa sa Miss World 2021 na gaganapin sa Puerto Rico ngayong darating na December.
Pinalitan niya sa trono ang Kapuso star na si Michelle Dee, na dalawang taong nagreyna dahil walang naganap na Miss World Philippines pageant last year dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.
Samantala, binati naman ni Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Bea Gomez ang kapwa niya Cebuana na si Tracy sa pagkapanalo nito sa Miss World Philippines pageant.
Sa kanyang Instagram post na may titulong “Universe x World,” ibinahagi ni Bea ang photo nila ni Tracy na magkasama na kuha sa isang photo shoot.
Aniya sa caption, “You told me not to give up so easily, to believe in my capabilities, and to always go back to my core values when things get rough.
“You reminded me that my only competition was myself and no one else. Who would have thought that we’d be here after that conversation,” mensahe ni Bea.
“Thank you so much, Queen, for the constant reminder and support despite the preparations that you yourself have been through. I am proud of you. We are proud of you, my sister,” dagdag pa ng dalaga.
Nangako rin si Bea na gagawin nila ni Tracy ang lahat para maiuwi ang inaasam na titulo at korona, “not only for Cebu City but for the Philippines.”
