Robi, Donny rarampa sa reality show na ‘Aja Aja Tayo Sa Jeju’, nagpakaligaya sa Korea

IBANG-IBA pa rin talaga ang feeling kapag nasa sariling tahanan ka. Yan ang nararamdaman ngayon ni Donny Pangilinan sa pagbabalik niya sa ABS-CBN.

Ilang linggo ring nawala ang young actor-TV host sa Kapamilya Network matapos gumawa ng isang proyekto sa TV5 kasama sina Maja Salvador at Piolo Pascual na bigla na lang nawala sa ere.

Sa pagbabalik niya sa ABS-CBN, pinapirma na agad siya ng exclusive contract para sa ilang bonggang proyekto, kabilang na ang pagiging host uli ng “ASAP Natin ‘To.”

“It’s been a while. Ang tagal ko nang hindi nakapunta sa building na ‘to (ABS-CBN). It’s nice to see my friends again, yung mga dancers, to be on a stage again.

“Right now, just being here in the building itself, just feels parang iba, iba yung spirit dito eh. Ang ganda.  The spirit, the people, just the environment, it’s different when you enter this building.

“So I’m glad to be here. In my roots. Thank you so much ABS-CBN for giving me my wings to fly. I will be grateful forever,” ang dire-diretsong pahayag ng binata.

Ibinalita rin niya sa nakaraang Kapamilya Strong event matapos ang kanyang contract signing na malapit nang ipalabas ang bago niyang show, ang “Aja Aja Tayo Sa Jeju” na kinunan pa sa South Korea.

“It’s a reality-variety show showcasing the beauty of Jeju island in South Korea. Get ready sa pinakamasaya at pinakamakulit na adventure this summer.

“This was shot before the pandemic and akala nga namin ni kuya Robi (Domingo) na hindi na magso-showing kasi ang daming nangyari. The pandemic is so hard.

“But finally it’s showing this summer and it’s a variety show, a group of friends go to Jeju island, they explore Korea. Kasama ko si kuya Robi dito of course.

“Grabe yung friendship namin ni kuya Robi dito makikita niyo talaga. Ang dami naming ginawa. We explored Jeju, we did challenges.

“So, ‘Aja Aja Tayo Sa Jeju’ is something they should look forward to. I’m excited to see it because I haven’t seen any cuts, any scenes. Ang saya,” excited na kuwento ng anak nina Maricel Laxa at Anthony Pangilinan.

Bukod dito, bibida rin siya sa isang Wattpad series na may titulong, “He’s Into Her” kasama ang ka-loveteam niyang si Belle Mariano.

“This last lock-in I think we all got closer. Lahat naman kami, we’re very open with each other and I think that helps when you’re acting as well kasi we’re all supposed to be friends in this series.

“So I’m glad that all our walls are slowly going down and I’m just excited to see them again. Kasi  meron pa kaming isa pang lock-in. We can’t wait to show you guys what we have in store.

“Thank you for being there. For always trending and for being there in general. We love you guys,” aniya pa.

Samantala, gusto ring masubukan ni Donny ang iba’t ibang roles, “I think I’m still a sponge right now taking in all the information. One thing I learned with direk is to be more vulnerable. Just to be more open.

“I guess I’ll never stop learning. As you go more into acting you think okay ka na pero hindi pa talaga. It’s a process that I’m looking forward to for sure,” lahad pa ng binata.
