Edward umamin na, mas lumalim pa ngayon ang friendship nila ni Maymay

HABANG dumadaan ang mga taon, mas lalo pang lumalalim ang friendship nina Maymay Entrata at Edward Barber.

Halos limang taon na rin ang tambalang MayWard at hanggang ngayon ay nananatili pa rin ang magandang samahan ng dalawa kaya naman buong-buo pa rin ang suporta at pagmamahal ng kanilang mga fans.

“Si Maymay ay isa sa closest friends ko and I made that very clear as well. But I feel personally that people don’t seem to understand the depth of that.

“Kasi when I call someone like Robi (Domingo) or Darren (Espanto) or Kyle (Echarri) my brother, it’s deeper than that.

“And with Maymay and I, it’s deeper than that. There’s so many things na hindi kailangan i-share sa public but they can see how strong we are in our relationship together. So kahit anong mangyari hindi mawawala yun,” ang pahayag ni Edward nang humarap sa press para sa Kapamilya Strong event.

Samantala, natanong naman ang young actor kung ano na ang biggest investment niya sa mundo showbiz simula noong lumabas siya sa “Pinoy Big Brother” house.

“Time talaga. Kasi may mga times sa mga projects, for example yung last project namin na ‘Princess DayaReese,’ I think it was over a year in the works kasi may pitching, may delay, tapos may konting paasa factor. Ha-hahaha!

“But eventually we got it done but of course it took a lot of time and it took a lot of effort. Siguro yung pinakamalaking investment ko aside from time is emotions.

“I’m an emotional guy. I’m sensitive. I get overwhelmed quickly. Putting my heart, realizing, this is just a job. I don’t think I’ve ever treated this like a job. I don’t think that’s always good ha.

“I treated it like a relationship and sometimes there’s ups and downs. But at the end of the day I’m still a Kapamilya, nandito pa rin ako.

“And I’m hoping, nagpaparinig ako ng konti ha, hindi ako mawawala any time soon,” chika pa ng binata.

Matapos pumirma ng bagong exclusive contract sa ABS-CBN sa ginanap na Kapamilya Strong event, nagpasalamat si Edward sa lahat ng taong pinagkakautangan niya ng loob.

“Sa lahat ng family, sa mga bosses ng ABS-CBN, sa Mayward family, solid Edward, and sold Maymay, maraming salamat po.

“Dahil sa inyo, for another couple of years I’m here solid sa Kapamilya and it’s really because of your help, your strength that you’ve given me. Because of that I’ve had many blessings in my life.

“So Kuwentong Barber every Wednesday 6 pm we’ll be having that live on Kumu sa MYX.ph, ASAP Natin ‘To and iWant ASAP siyempre every Sunday, at marami pang ibang mga projects that I think are in the works so abangan natin yun. I love you mga Kapamilya. Whatever happens, we’ll get back up,” aniya pa.
