Carla, Heart nagmakaawang iligtas ang 47 asong nasa death row; dapat parusahan ang iresponsableng pet owner
SANG-AYON ba kayo na makulong ang mga iresponsableng pet owners sa bansa na basta na lang pinababayaan at inaabandona ang kanilang mga alagang hayop?
Yan din kasi ang panawagan ng Kapuso actresses na si Carla Abellana matapos makiusap sa publiko na tulungan siyang makahanap ng mga gustong mag-ampon ng mga Aspin o asong Pinoy.
Napag-alaman kasi ng aktres na may 47 aso na nasa “death row” ngayon ng ilang city pounds sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa dahil sa pagpapabaya ng mga taong dating nag-aalaga sa kanila.
Kasunod nito, halos magmakaawa na ang girlfriend ni Tom Rodriguez na maging responsableng pet owner at maging advocate rin ng animal adoption.
Ipinost ni Carla sa kanyang Instagram account ang mga litrato ng ilang asong nakatakdang patayin na may caption na, “Please, please, please ADOPT instead of shop.
“Thousands of strays are euthanized on a weekly basis at city pounds all over our country.
“Be a responsible pet owner too. Spay/neuter your pets to avoid unwanted pets who end up becoming strays,” pahayag ni Carla.
Hinikayat din ng “Love of My Life” lead star ang kanyang fans at followers sa social media na tulungan sila sa pagse-save sa nga Aspin na nakalinya sa death row.
“Do not abandon. Having a pet is a lifetime commitment. [Forty-seven] dogs on death row — scheduled to be killed by gunshot.
“And yes, killing by gunshot is legal. And all you irresponsible pet owners, know that you are responsible for the deaths if dogs on death row!!
“This is just one of the many dogs on death row in several pounds in the country,” pagsusumamo ng dalaga.
Aniya pa, “Can we finally put irresponsible pet owners behind bars this time? Can we finally have more free and subsidized spay and neuter programs so overpopulation can finally be addressed.”
Samantala, ganito ang panawagan ng Philippine Animal Welfare Society ambassador na si Heart Evangelista. Sana raw ay mas marami pang Filipino ang mag-ampon ng mga Aspin at mabigyan sila ng pamilya at “forever home.”
Mensahe ni Heart sa kanyang Instagram Story, “Let’s get you out of there take you to your forever home soon papa love.
“Pawssionproject Thank you for them hope adopt’ don’t shop.. so many dogs are willing to give ‘love’ like no other. Stop buying love. Know there’s that one dog waiting for YOU,” aniya pa.
