‘Cleaners’ big winner sa PPP 4; Elijah Canlas wagi ng Special Jury Prize

HUMAKOT ng award ang pelikulang “Cleaners” sa 4th Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).

Ginanap ang awarding ng PPP4sa  pamamagitan ng virtual ceremony kahapon sa gitna pa rin ng banta COVID-19.

Mula sa 10 nomination, anim na tropeo ang naiuwi ng pelikula ni Glenn Barit na “Cleaners” kabilang na ang Best Director.

Nakuha nito ang Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress para kay Gianne Rivera, Special Citation for Ensemble Performance para kay Leomar Baloran, Julian Narag, at Carlo Mejia, Best Production Design para kay Alvin Francisco at Best Musical Score para pa rin kay Glenn Barit.

Winner na winner din ang pelikula ni Jason Paul Laxamana na “He Who Is Without Sin” na siyang nakakuha ng Special Jury Prize for Performance in a Lead Role para kay Elijah Canlas.

Nasungkit din ni Jason Paul ang Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography para kay Emmanuel Liwanag at Audience Choice Award for Feature Film Category.

Nagsimula ang virtual 2020 PPP nitong Oct. 31 with  90 full-length films a  80 short films. Umabot naman sa mahigit 8,000 subscribers na nanood sa nga kalahok na pelikula.

Best Director – Glenn Barit (Cleaners)

Best Actress – Hana Kino (Come On, Irene)

Best Actor – Gold Azeron (Metamorphosis)

Special Jury Prize for Performance in A Lead Role – Elijah Canlas (He Who is Without Sin)

Special Citation for Ensemble Performance – Leomar Baloran, Julian Narag and Carlo Mejia (Cleaners)

Best Supporting Actress – Gianne Rivera (Cleaners)

Best Supporting Actor – Henyo Ehem (The Highest Peak)

Best Screenplay – Jason Paul Laxamana (He Who is Without Sin)

Best Cinematography – Emmanuel Liwanag (He Who is Without Sin)

Best Editing – Lawrence Fajardo (Kintsugi)

Best Production Design – Alvin Francisco (Cleaners)

Best Sound Design – Arbi Barbarona (The Highest Peak)

Best Musical Score – Glenn Barit (Cleaners)

Audience Choice Award for Feature Film Category – He Who is Without Sin by Jason Paul Laxamana
