Miss Bohol nabastusan nga ba kay KC Montero sa Q&A ng Miss Universe PH 2020?
BINANATAN ng mga netizens ang TV host-actor na si KC Montero pagkatapos umere sa GMA 7 ang kontrobersiyal na Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
Hindi kasi nagustuhan ng ilang mga nakapanood sa grand coronation ng beauty pageant ang tila harapang pambabastos umano ni KC kay Miss Bohol Pauline Amelinckx sa Q&A segment ng Top 16 candidates.
Pumasok sa Top 5 si Pauline at siyang itinanghal na Miss Universe Philippines third runner-up.
Ayon sa ilang netizens, feeling nila sinopla ni KC si Pauline nang kausapin nito ang dalaga bago magtanong.
“Alright, our next contender is Miss Bohol. How are you doing, Pauline?” simulang bati ng TV host sa kandidata.
Tugon ni Pauline, “I’m doing good. Thank you for asking. How about you?”
Dito nagbiro si KC kay Miss Bohol at nag-dialogue ng, “Oh, no one ever asks me questions” kasabay ng pandidilat ng mga mata.
Sey naman ni Pauline, “Sorry, should I not have done that?” Na sinagot naman ni KC ng, “It’s okay, I’ll go ahead and read what you’re supposed to comment on.”
Tinawag ngang unprofessional, may kinikilingan at bastos ng ilang netizens ang TV host. Sa halip daw na pawiin nito ang nerbiyos ng kandidata ay parang mas lalo pa raw nitong pinakaba ang dalaga.
Napansin din nila na kung “rude” si KC kay Pauline ay napakagiliw naman daw nito kay Miss Iloilo City Rabiya Mateo na siyang kinoronahang Miss Universe Philippines 2020. Sinabi pa nitong siya ang kinakabahan nang makaharap si Rabiya.
Agad namang nagbigay ng pahayag si Miss Bohol hinggil sa isyung ito sa pamamagitan ng Instagram Story. Aniya, naging kalmado siya nang makipagbiruan si KC sa kanya during the Q&A portion.
“Please let me put this out there. KC is a great and engaging host.
“We had small talk on stage before the QnA which helped me take a breath and calm my nerves before answering the Question.
“That part was indeed cut short for airtime. Regardless, what he said in response to me asking how he was doing was just humor to me.
“No harm was done in my eyes. But this has gone out of hand and I just want to remember the entire experience in the most positive way possible, because it was a positive experience to begin with,” paliwanag ni Pauline.
Samantala, nagpaliwanag din si KC nang malaman ang saloobin ng ilang nanood sa beauty pageant. Aniya, biniro lang niya si Miss Bohol at wala siyang intensyong bastusin ito.
Sabi ng TV host, naputol na kasi ang iba pang parts ng usapan nila ni Pauline. Recorded na kasi ang Miss Universe Philippines grand coronation na ipinalabas sa GMA kaya edited na ito.
