“Why should I apologize?”
Nanindigan si Lieutenant General Antonio Parlade Jr. na hindi siya hihingi ng paumanhin kay Liza Soberano sa kabila ng pagbatikos ng maraming grupo, kabilang na ang ilang senador, sa kanyang pahayag na ang aktres ay nagagamit ng rebeldeng komunista.
Sinabi ni Parlade sa panayam ng ABS-CBN News Channel nitong Biyernes na nagpasalamat pa umano sa kanya ang pamilya ni Liza sa paliwanag na ginawa niya tungkol sa totoong adhikain ng Gabriela Youth, na binansagan niyang front organization ng Communist Party of the Philippines.
“The family thanked me. Atty. (Juanito) Lim thanked me and called me up that they’re sending the thank you letter and he told me that the family is thankful, why should I apologize,” ani Parlade.
Nagsalita kamakailan si Liza sa isang webinar ng Gabriela Youth na may titulong “Mga Tinig ni Nene: Reclaiming Our Voices on the International Day of the Girl Child,” kung saan ay emosyonal niyang tinalakay ang mga isyu ng karahasan sa kababaihan at bata.
Ito ay bagay na hindi nagustuhan ng YouTube vlogger na si Maui Becker. Binansagan niya ang aktres na isa nang “rebeldeng NPA” at sinabihan pa na “stupid bitch” sabay utos na “manahimik” na lang at huwag makialam sa isyu ng mga bata.
Sinabi ni Parlade na kailangang mapaliwanagan si Liza at iba pang celebrities na aniya ay target ng underground organization na pinapatakbo ng mga komunista.
“She has to be protected in the exercise of her rights. Is she an NPA? No, of course not. Not yet,” ani Parlade.
Pero mahigpit na tinanggihan ni Parlade na inihahanay niya si Soberano sa mga rebeldeng komunista.
“Again, I did not red-tag Liza Soberano,” wika niya.

Not yet. So let’s help educate her and the other celebrity targets of Malayang Kilusan ng Bagong Kababaihan (MAKIBAKA), the Underground Mass Organization hiding under Gabriela Women’s Party.
“So, Rep. Arlene Brosas and Gabriela, shame on you if you haven’t informed your recruits about your hidden violent agenda.
“Liza Soberano, there’ s still a chance to abdicate that group. If you don’t, you will suffer the same fate as Josephine Anne Lapira @ELLA, former Deputy Secretary General of Gabriela Youth of UP, Manila and defender of women’s rights, even against sexual predators amongst her comrades in the NPA unit she joined which is clearly stated in her handwritten letter addressed to a certain @EMIL.
“It’s a pity she learned about non sense things like nabbing a firearm, exploitation while already inside the underground. It was too late, she is dead.
“The choice is yours Liza. And so with you Catriona. Don’t follow the path Ka Ella Colmenares (Locsin) took in the underground and NPA Quezon. I am sure Angel Locsin and Neri Colmenares will not tell you this.”
