Inanunsyo ni Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita ang pagbibitiw niya sa pwesto.
Ginawa ng presidente ang anunsyo sa isang televised speech ilang oras matapos mag-kudeta ang mga sundalo ng Mali at dinampot sa bahay ang presidente at saka ikinulong.
Mahigit dalawang buwan nang may nagaganap na mga demonstrasyon sa Mali na nananawagan ng pagbaba sa pwesto ng presidente.
Sa pahayag sinabi ni Keita na effective immediately ang kaniyang resignation.
