Love life, James Yap at iba pang chika sa panayam kay Kris Aquino

SA nalalapit na airing ng “Love Life with Kris” sa TV5 sa Aug. 15, walang mangyayaring presscon para makatsikahan sana ng press si Kris Aquino.

Nag-iingat ang buong team ng Positive Exposure Productions pati na ni direk Gab Valenciano dahil pa rin sa banta ng COVID-19 pandemic.

Kahit virtual presscon ay wala rin kaya humingi na lang ang producer ni Kris ng mga katanungan sa mga isyung gustong malaman ng mga reporter para sagutin ng Queen of All Media.

Narito ang mga ipinadalang tanong ng ilang miyembro ng media.

Q.  How is your love life now?

Kris: Habang nabubuhay, huwag mawalan ng pag-asa. ‘Yun lang ang sagot ko.  Ha ha ha!

Q.  How do you feel that James Yap’s relationship with his Italian partner also didn’t work?

Kris: Maybe, I have a new belief system.  Something that’s no longer involves me, I should never comment about.

Because what’s part of my past should remain in my past, and what does not affect my life now, I should shut up about.

Q.  Who will write and direct your show and who will be your initial guest stars?  What topics will you discuss, showbiz or current events, or general?

Kris: Hindi ko alam kung sino ang magsusulat.  Kasi, ang alam ko lang na ano ako, Creative Head. Ha ha ha!  Ang kapal ng mukha, ‘no, sinabi talaga? Ha ha ha!  Kasi, okey, I’ll tell you why.

I’m a fan of Tyler Perry.  So, I’ve been watching ‘The Haves and The Have Nots’, because it was because of that show na OWN or Oprah Winfrey Network, when it started, medyo tagilid…

And then, Tyler came in. And it’s now, if I’m not mistaken is on its seventh season. And then, nakita ko ‘yung credits.  It says executive produced, created, written, and directed by Tyler Perry.

So, sabi ko, sige, tanggalin na natin ‘yung executive produced.  Hindi ko ‘yan pinapangarap dahil mababaliw lang ako!  Pero gusto ko ‘yung ‘created by, written, and hosted by Kris Aquino’.

Regarding the director, thank God, we’re all in the same page, because I really made this request na I really wanted someone na nasa millennial age bracket.  Because I need fresh ideas.

I hope Bim (Bimby) doesn’t get to see this ‘coz he cringes every time I say Zoomer.  Sinasabi niya, ‘Stop it, mama!’  Eh, kasi sabi ko, ‘But that’s you.  You’re Gen Z.  Eh, Gen X ako.

So, sabi ko, in order to bridge the gap, I need a millennial.  Because I already have the opinion of Gen Z.  Obviously, I’m Gen X.  So, ni-request ko talaga . Please, ‘yung director natin, kailangan, millennial.’”

Q.  Congratulations as always for raising two upstanding men who truly love their mother and know the value of family.  During your difficult years, they have both been by your side, and as you’ve said before, you especially depend on Bimby for his comfort and wisdom.  Now that he’s all grown up and such a looker, are you ready for him to go out and look for love for himself?

Kris: Yes! But I want to join! Ha ha ha!  I told him, ‘Bim, later on, when the ano, when the cinemas are open again, you can ask anybody that you want to watch a movie!  Kasi, nu’ng 12 ako, pinayagan akong manood ng sine sa States ng mom and dad ko!

Because it was my mom who told my dad, that ‘You know, we’re in the States, you have to go with the culture.  And you have to allow her.’  Nasaan na kaya ‘yung lalaking ‘yon? Ha ha ha!   Baka naman by now, naghiwalay na?  Mahanap nga siya!

Anyway, si Bim, sinabi nya, ‘Oh, my gosh! And you gonna bring cameras!’ Sabi ko, ‘No, I’m not. I’m gonna let you have privacy.’ Okey, So, can I emphasize also na, yes, they do love me, but I can too much also.  Kuwento ko na, ha?

Kasi ‘yung ano, ‘di ba may programang nilulunsad ngayon, ‘yung Balik-Probinsiya?  Si Kuya (Josh), gusto nang tumira sa probinsiya.  Dumiretso siya sa tiyuhin niya.  ‘I want to live in Tarlac,’ tinext niya.  So, ang safe answer nu’ng tiyhuhin, ‘You have to ask your mom’s permission.’

Eh, siyempre, alangan ba namang ako ‘yung maging kontrabida? So, I said, ‘Sure, Kuya!’  Aba, ang sinagot,  ‘You can have lola’s old room and we can share the house. So, as we speak now, tomorrow, titira na siya sa Tarlac, si Kuya!

Pero ang sinabi ko, one week. One week si Kuya. Kasi, between the two, it’s really Kuya who loves living in the province. Specifically, he loves Tarlac because, happy memories siya doon with his lola.

And we all know, ‘di ba, na minsan, love-hate ang relationship naming talaga ng only brother ko (Noynoy).  Pero, favorite talaga niya si (Josh). May soft spot siya for Kuya (Josh). So, hindi tinanggihan.

Napagastos tuloy ako, dahil bagong aircon, may TV, heater, naglagay ng mga blinds, mga bagong sofa beds, mga gano’n. Tapos, gumawa siya ng sarili niyang team, may Team Josh! Sabi ko, ‘Okey!’  So, ako naman, ‘Sige, Kuya, go!’

Honestly ha, and I’m not. I’m serious in this:  I’m healthy when I’m in the province.  So, part of my life goal is to work four days here in NCR or Metro Manila, and to live three days in the province.

So, pinag-iipunan ko ‘yan kasi, sabi ko, gusto kong magkaroon ng mga fish ponds.  Naloka na ‘yung mga nasa paligid (ko ngayon), dahil sabi nila, ‘Magpapaayos! Kailangan nating mag-NLEX at SCTEX para ayusan siya?!’ Ha ha ha! Hindi! SCTEX-Exit na. Hahaha!

At ‘pag magbi-briefing ang mga taga-Cornerstone, ang layo na! Mahal na ‘yung toll na babayaran dahil, I now live in the North!”
