SINIMULAN na ng Department of Transportation ang interim operation ng EDSA Busway upang madagdagan ang masasakyan ng publiko.
Bumiyahe na ngayong araw ang 150 bus pero 550 ang otorisadong bus na bumiyahe rito.
Ang EDSA Busway ay dagdag sa bus augmentation program para sa Metro Rail Transit 3.
Ang mga bus na biyaheng Monumento-Quezon Avenue ay hihinto sa bus stops sa:

LRT Balintawak
Kaingin Road
LRT Muñoz Station
MRT North Avenue Station (Southbound-Loading only, Northbound-Unloading Only)
MRT Quezon Avenue Station (Southbound-Loading only, Northbound-Unloading Only)
Ang mga bus ay lilipat sa median lane mula Quezon Avenue hanggang Estrella.
Pagdating sa Estrella ay papayagan na magbaba at magsakay ng pasahero mula sa Buendia hanggang PITX. Ang mga bus ay hihinto sa:

Ayala (Southbound-Unloading Only, Northbound-Loading and Unloading)
Magallanes
Evangelista/Malibay
Taft Avenue (Southbound-Unloading Only, Northbound-Loading Only)

Tinatapos pa ang mga bus stops at ang median lane.
Umorder ng 36,000 concrete barrier ang DoTr para sa EDSA Busway. Magsisimulang dumating ang mga ito sa Hulyo 2.
Target na mapaikli ang biyahe mula Monumento hanggang PITX sa 45 minuto hanggang isang oras mula sa kasalukuyang 2-3 oras.
Simula bukas ay magsisimula na ang pagbiyahe ng mini buses o shuttle sa mini loop mula Timog Avenue hanggang Santolan.
