HALOS 50,000 na ang mga Overseas Filipinos na na-repatriate ng Department of Foreign Affairs.
Sa datos ng DFA, 49,520 Overseas Filipinos (OFs) na ang naibalik nito sa bansa mula ng magsimulang kumalat ang coronavirus disease 2019 noong Pebrero.
Sa bilang na ito 58.2 porsyento o 28,816 OFs ang sea-based at 41.8 porsyento (20,704 OFs) ang land-based.
Ang mga huling naiuwi ay galing sa Canada, The Netherlands, at United Arab Emirates.
“OFs who wish to be repatriated are requested to signify their interest to the nearest Embassies or Consulates General in their area.”
