UMAKYAT na sa 5,519 ang bilang ng mga overseas Filipino workers na nahawa ng coronavirus disease 2019 ngayong araw.
Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs nadagdagan ito ng 29.
Tumaas naman ng 116 ang bilang ng mga nahawang OFW na gumaling. May kabuuang bilang na itong 2,485.
“This one spike in reported recoveries brings the total number of Filipino nationals who have recovered from the disease to almost 2,500, which is 45% of the total confirmed cases,” saad ng DFA.
Lima naman ang naidagdag sa bilang ng mga nasawi. May kabuuang bilang na itong 400.
Sa Middle East may pinakamaraming OFW na nahawa ng COVID-19.
