Online sellers ng pekeng COVID-related products arestuhin

DAPAT umanong pag-ibayuhin ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at Philippine National Police (PNP) ang kampanya nito laban sa mga online seller ng mga pekeng Covid-19-related products.

Ayon kay Quezon City Rep. Precious Hipolito Castelo mistulang mga buwetre ang mga online sellers na pinagkakakitaan ang takot ng publiko sa coronavirus disease 2019.

“These online sellers have no accountability, because they are not registered with the concerned agencies like the Department of Trade and Industry and the Bureau of Internal Revenue. So it should not be hard for the NBI and the PNP and even local government units to stop their trade, apprehend them and file charges against them,” ani Castelo.

Dapat din umanong humahanap ng paraan ang NBI at PNP upang ma-blacklist sa online selling ang mga ito.

Pinayuhan naman ni Castelo ang publiko na bumili lamang ng produkto sa mga lisensyadong ospital at drug store at magpa-test lamang sa mga trained professionals.

Hindi umano maiaalis na marami ang pumapatol sa mga online seller kahit kuwestyunable ang produkto ng mga ito dahil sa kakulangan ng kakayanan ng gobyerno na makapagsagawa ng malawakang test at limitasyon ng mga laboratoryo.

May mga empleyado umano ng ospital na bumibili ng testing kits sa black market para masuri ang kanilang sarili sa pangamba na maiuwi nila ang sakit sa kanilang pamilya.
