Dental fillings na may mercury phase out na

Leifbilly Begas - May 22, 2020 - 03:33 PM

Pinirmahan ni Health Sec. Francisco Duque III ang DOH Administrative Order No. 2020-0020 o ang  “Guidelines on the Phase-Out of Mercury Use in Dental Restorative Procedures” noong Mayo 14 alinsunod sa Universal Health Care Act at Minamata Convention on Mercury upang limitahan ang paggamit ng mercury sa bansa.

“DOH A.O. 2020-0020 sets a clear path to the country’s transition to mercury-free dentistry.  We laud its development in consultation with stakeholders and its eventual adoption as a milestone in the implementation of the Minamata Convention in the Philippines despite the country’s long-overdue ratification of this treaty,” ani Thony Dizon, Chemical Safety Campaigner ng EcoWaste.
