PCSO naglabas ng P3B vs COVID

MAHIGIT P3 bilyon na ang ipinalalabas na pondo ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office bilang tulong sa laban kontra coronavirus disease 2019.

Bagamat mahigit dalawang buwan ng walang kita ang ahensya, sinabi ni PCSO general manager Royina Garma na gagawa ito ng paraan upang makatulong sa gobyerno.

“It’s crucial that we all work together with other government agencies to help minimize the negative impact of the pandemic on health systems, social services as well as economic activities,” ani Garma sa isang press statement.

“Although, the Agency has no revenue for more than two months, this will not stop PCSO from doing its best to make sure that it will come to the aid of our government and the public. That is why when this is all over, I am calling on the public to donate to PCSO by continuously playing Lotto, STL, Keno, Sweepstakes, Scratch-it games.”

Noong Marso ay nagpalabas ang PCSO ng P420 milyon bilang tulong sa COVIC-19 measures na ipinatupad ng gobyerno. Ang pondo ay napunta sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp., na sasagot sa gastos sa pagpapa-ospital ng mga pasyente.

Nasundan ito ng paglalagay ng P447 milyon ng PCSO sa mga ospital ng gobyerno. Pambili ito ng Testing Kits; Reagents; Medical / Diagnostic Equipment; Confinement; Medicines; Laboratory/Diagnostic procedures; at Personal Protective Equipment.

May pondo ring inilaan para sa mga mahihirap na pasyente.

Nagbigay na rin ng P2.2 bilyong advance dividends ang PCSO sa Department of Finance.
